Is giving a dollar to a kid's lemonade stand 'better' than giving that same dollar to a begging homeless person?

I'm liking my odds at the lemonade stand. I have my own reasons for this and it's from experience with both parties. Just for the record, my first reasoning (obvious reasoning) is risk/reward factor at the lemonade stand
